DC Collectibles Batman : Arkham Origins Series 1 – Bane Review

Paint – 8/10

The tremendous sculpt gets a worthy enough paint application. From the application in his mask to the varying shades of grey and green on his ‘combat uniform’, there is hardly any inconsistency in paint. No bleeds or sops at all. If there was something I’d want, it would be some dry brushed highlighting of the metal parts of his venom pumping machine as they look too bland.

Articulation – 6/10

The articulation on this is nothing out of the ordinary compared to usual older DCC figures. There is a ball-jointed head, hinge elbows (impeded by the sculpt), cut wrists, ball and hinge shoulders, cut waist, hinge upper legs and ball hinge knees. Its not extremely or generously articulated, but its not statue-like either.

Accessories – ?/10

Nothing really. But you cant really fault them as Bane was pretty much a very ‘hands-on’ guy.

Overall – 8/10

Overall it is an amazing figure of a character who has probably got his best depiction since his début in the Batman comics. He is unique, imposing, and does absolute justice to the character depicted.
